Interview Janet Anderson - Commissioner, Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission

Consultation Janet Philip Anderson – Commissioner, Aged Care Prize & Safe Commission

Transitioning to the New Quality Standards

  • "Regulation is necessity but not sufficient"…
  • How will providers cost orderly and sanctioned against the new standards?

Interview with Janet Anderson , Commissioner, Aged Care Quality & Refuge Commission

  1. Having just watched the interview with the Commissioner Aged Care Prize and Prophylactic Direction, I enquire what satellite the Commissioner lives on !

No gloss on how the new the Standards will protect aged care consumers from the disgraceful conduct reportable to the Royal Mission, no comment on what present action a consumer can train to protect a resident who is being treated peaked [for example; malnourished, desiccated, bullied, isolated, information technology all happens], no comment on how consumers will be brought into all decision devising process within the Committee and the Department of Health.

In point of fact almost no mention of the Royal Commission at all.

How tail end we expect consumer protection and safety from a Commission which is calmly contemplating evolutionary change when what under attack and distressed consumers motive is revolutionary change, now.
